Was this just a dream? *on hold*

When 15 year old Sophie falls asleep in a forest one day, her world turns upside down. She meets her favorite book characters as her journey begins to find her way home. She needs all the help she can get from these people (if you class them as that).

The Hunger Games, The Morganville books, Twilight, Divergent/ Insurgent, The Fallen books, Harry Potter (future generation), Doctor Who and The Fault In Our Stars.

1. Prologue

Sophie's POV

It was a Saturday morning when I left my house to go for a walk in the forest by my secondary school in South Valley when my point of view on everything changed.

The love I should have for my family after seeing what I did that day made me realize how much I can't live without them.

The things I take for granted - life itself - should be more cherished and appreciated.

The smile on people's face aren't always what they seem.

And the fact that I'm here, living with the things I need to to survive on are so rare in other places that people may even fight to the death or shoot each other for it.

Nothing in the fictional world is fair. Nothing.

Everything, everywhere, there is some struggle. A splash of blood here and there. Maybe a death or two to get the crowd going. Or an innocent child on the verge of dying just to see it being crushed under the authors words.

Not everything is perfect.

And I was taught that on my voyage around another dimension. No human being, no werewolf, no vampire, no one with such innocence and life ahead of them should ever suffer for someone else's dilemma which goes on across their thresholds.

All in all, the world is a cruel place. However, there is always someone to smile to make it brighter, happier and livelier.

A dabble of colour to paint a new beginning.

A simple favor can change the world completely.

I was once told that to get through the darkest of times you must learn to follow the lights.

That people can have star crossed love. Katniss and Peeta did. Edward and Bella did. Eve and Michael did. Even Tris, the small quiet girl from Abnegation, the girl who had a million words to say yet couldn't even talk at the dinner table, fell in love with someone as dangerous as a silent world.

I've now heard everybody's story.

I've experienced their chronicle.

And now it's my turn.

It's my time to tell you mine.

This is my story now. I couldn't control it then, but I can change it at least now.
