Born [poem]

Inspirited by Hemingway's six-word novel:
"For sale: baby shoes, never worn."

04.11.2015. Just thought why not translate it into Russian? So I've added it.

1. ...

                but still.

I was

                already dead.

I wonder why

                my mother was crying?

I heard, she was waiting for a son,

                or maybe for a daughter…

But no-one was born.

                I was already dead.

Mother, forgive me,

I had to leave so soon.

Mother, don’t cry,

                you’ll have another child.

Mother, could I ask you

                for only one thing?

                be happy

even without me by your side.
