Jacquel is best described using the following words: Writer, Pop culture fanatic, Internet lover, Bookworm, and Introvert. Yet she sees herself as more of a Redhead, Journalist, Genius, Geek, and Killer Bunny Destroyer who will make up a story in her head before she goes to bed.

All bad jokes aside, Jacquel is a lifelong fan of fantasy and science fiction. She grew up reading everything from "The Lord of the Rings" to the Redwall series. In the seventh grade, she once slapped the class bully across the face because he called her a Cthulhu and he didn't know what a Cthulhu was. Jacquel is also notorious for starting projects that she never finishes, as she claims that the stories grow too big to be contained in a small box.

The kinds of stories Jacquel likes to write mainly fall into the science fiction and fantasy category, even though she also enjoys paranormal/urban fantasy. She also writes slice-of-life stories, which are more or less a watered down version of real life, and the problems that come from it.

Also, there are some stories that will be written here solely for this site, and they will be either short stories or continuations of stories that I have abandoned. And some stories that just crop up when I'm in the mood. In short, you'll never know what I'm going to be writing next.

One of my books is a hidden gem!

This is what happens when I disappeared from Movellas for half the month...

And this is what happens when I decided to search for a book to read.

mumbled "Well, I'm getting really sick and tired of this!"

Unfortunately, I had lost several stories because the site decided to eat them and I had to start all over again. Now it's happening again and I don't know why. Can someone help me resolve this problem please?
Well, I don't write directly on the website; it's the editing part I'm having problems with, as in, I can't edit a part of the story for some reason.
I did once, but ended up deleting that story and starting over. Now I'm going to try again.

    mumbled "Starting Over "

Can't believe Movellas ate my story "Away in England". Now I have to start over. This doesn't make me happy.
I wish I knew about it before I deleted the story and starting over.

Before deleting a story @[Jacquel Chrissy May], there's a lot we can do to help recover it should the problem involve anything with the Movellas website or the app. Next time email me at skye.smith@movellas.com before deleting it and starting over, it pains me to think that this issue caused you to do that anyway. Thanks for letting me know.
