It's been a long time since I've written one of these, so forgive me if I'm a little rusty.

My name is not Alice, but that tends to be the name I go by on the internet. I will, however, respond to Lemon, or really anything you choose to call me.

I'm seventeen, and I'd like to tell you I have hobbies, but in reality my time is largely spent doing homework, punctuated by the occasional trip to Costa. When I do have time, I love to read and to write of course, and I'm also an enthusiastic musician, if not, perhaps, a skilled one.

I'm studying English Literature, French, German and Latin at A-Level, hoping to continue with German at university next year.

I should warn you before you read any of my work, I rarely finish any of it. If you are a fan of stand-alone first chapters, then you have come to the write place (that started as a typo, but I have since decided it counts as a pun). I tend to fall in and out of love with ideas rather quickly and what results is a diverse range of unfinished material of varying quality.

If you need any help, or want any feedback, please feel free to ask. I can do short comments, or long, overly-finicky reviews, whichever you prefer.

Lastly, I'm always up for talking to people, so feel free to say hi.

Thanks for reading this overly-long ramble,

    mumbled "Hey..."

Well it's been ages. A-levels and university applications and my job have taken up a lot of my time and I haven't written in forever, but I'm currently looking for a way to manage stress and I think writing again may help. So... Hopefully see you guys around a bit more from now on. I've really missed this site.

Apart from orals I haven't had anything yet. First one on the 6th. I'm done on the 22nd. I'm doing 4 A-levels but because of my subject choices I only actually have 6 papers (+orals) so could be worse.

mumbled "Do I stay up all night to follow the BBC election coverage?"

Because on the one hand I'd like to keep up to date - on the other, if Trump wins (and I feel like he will) I'd far rather be ignorant for a few more blissful hours.

mumbled "My UCAS application is officially in!"

And two of the three unis I've entered so far (don't know what to do with my other two) are reportedly already giving out offers. I'm not stressed. I'm not. I'm not.

    Absolutely stunning, a deserved winner.
